Is accommodation included in the price?

Can I join with zero dance and/or parade experience?
Yes. Beginners are welcome. What matters most is that you’re willing to train, learn, and dedicate time to the art of samba. We’ll guide you step by step.Can I bring my partner (or a friend)?
Yes, your partner/friend can travel with you. Just keep in mind: training sessions and program activities are for participants (unless stated otherwise). If they want to join the program too, they’ll need to apply/audition as well. -
Which samba school are we parading with?
The samba school is selected each year. However, it will always be a school competing at Série Ouro level or higher. -
Do I need a visa for Brazil?
It depends on your passport/nationality. We’ll point you to the official information and what you need to check, but you’re responsible for arranging the correct travel documents.How to Apply for the Brazil e-Visa

Create an account and complete the online application form.
Prepare the required documents (based on the official checklist):
Valid passport
Passport-style photo
Flight reservation (entry + exit)
Bank statement showing at least US$ 2,000 (for some applicants)
Pay the visa fee (official e-Visa fee shown as US$ 80.90 on Brazilian consular info pages).
Processing time can take up to 10 working days (apply early).
Tip: Apply at least one month before travel to avoid stress.

Do I need to be able to speak Portuguese?
Don’t worry, you don’t need to speak Portuguese. People in Rio de Janeiro are used to communicating through translation apps.What language are the workshops in?
Most workshops will be taught in Portuguese, but don’t worry, there will always be someone there to translate into English. Since most of the group usually doesn’t speak Portuguese, translation support is part of the experience. -
