Born in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, a city deeply rooted in Afro-Brazilian culture, rhythm, and ancestry, Ingride’s movement and teaching are shaped by Bahia’s traditions, energy, and history. 

Ingride her journey started at a young age, when her mother enrolled her in capoeira classes. Through capoeira, Ingride learned discipline, resilience, and the power of movement. That foundation gave her the strength to work hard, beat the odds, and eventually move to the United States in search of a brighter future. 

Years later, that journey came full circle when Ingride founded IX Experience: a way to share her culture, knowledge, and love for samba with students around the world.

But Ingride is not just an entrepreneur. She is a teacher, capoeirista and samba dancer at the highest level: Passista of Unidos do Viradouro and former Passista of Acadêmicos do Salgueiro. She specializes in samba, Afro-Brazilian dance, and Carnival performance.

Over the years, Ingride has built a strong career and trusted network within Rio’s samba school world. That is exactly why, when you join IX Experience, you know you are learning from someone with real experience, cultural knowledge, and deep respect for the tradition.
